Movie Paper Prop Assignment
For this assignment, I have to create a paper prop that would work in a movie. My movie of choice is Detective Pikachu, since there's a lot of paper and fun detective elements in it.

The movie is about a missing father, and a detective Pikachu trying to find him with the father's son. This all takes place in a fictional city called Ryme City, which is based off of a combination of London, New York, and Tokyo in modern times.

Since this is modern times, I need to use modern print. More specifically, I think New York Times or Time Magazine will be good examples. I was thinking of having a torn newspaper cover on a wall in the clues scene, where the Pikachu has a bunch of paper scattered all over the place. The paper might be a little crumpled, but in the scene they are pretty neat for the most part.

New York Times uses Times New Roman as their fonts, so I'll be sure to use that. I also need a big image in the center, like newspaper covers typically have. Time uses Times New Roman for headlines, and sans-serif fonts for the body.

Here are some examples of newspapers below. (Sorry Professor Polk; I tried to pick the least-political ones possible, but a lot of available examples are.)
Now, onto the finished piece! I took huge inspiration from The New York times. I decided to incorporate the magazine in a scene with lots of color.
